Does anyone know how to remove the silver cover off the front of the steering wheel? I need to clean the buttons on the steering wheel. I just got my Edge used and it looks like someone spilled or got something sticky on the seek button. It still works I just want to get in there and clean it. Thanks for any help.

Hello all, I just got a used 2011 Edge Limited edition and I'm loving it but I have a question. There is a black area on my 3rd brake light (The one above the back window), it looks like a sensor or something was there. Anyone know what this is or was. Here is a picture I tried to take: Thanks for any help.
