For a 2011 Edge, my current Sync version is Gen2 - V1.8. The SyncMyRide site says I have an update that has to be installed at the dealer. Took it to the dealer, who was initially confused by my request. Someone else at the dealer said I have to wait for the package in the mail, and any installation they perform would be subject to their service fee of nearly $100. Time to find another dealer, or will there be a download available for this update?
