Well, called the ERL (automated order status thingy)...Still says "Your vehicle is clean/unscheduled. It has not been serialized at this time." No wonder Ford lost $12.7 Billion in 2006.

Lately I have seen gaps of 6/7 weeks from order to serialization, maybe someone can tell us how many shifts per week Oakville will schedule for the next month or so??

It's hard to tell the time frame on an order placed while the plant is running normally... Most of the orders that have been serialized already are ones that were placed prior to production starting or during all of the delays, so naturally they were long.

I know someone that ordered an MKX 3-weeks ago Saturday, and it still hasn't been serialized! Is the plant behind or what? The general rule of thumb is 10 days for serialization. I assume the plant is over-run with orders...but I guess that is a good problem to have.

Someone want to be nice and post a pic of an Edge or MKX key? :D

This is an odd question, but what does the Edge/MKX key look like? Is it the key-fob integrated key like the Fusion has?

I did some searching online and the most recent delievery projection of one ordered now is 6-10 weeks. Is that accurate?

I'm in the central-midwest, btw.

I'm helping a relative with an MKX purchase. If they were to order one this week, when do you think they would get it? I know there have been several delays with the launch, are things running at full-force now?
