  1. They were ok when I first got the truck. No real complains at first. I wish they had a little more traction in the snow at times...but last year we did get hit with a lot of snow. If it were not for the noise I would prob still be happy with them.
  2. Hey Everyone, The tires on my 2011 Edge Limited have about 45k on them and are starting to get really loud, which is starting to annoy me. I am thinking about getting new tires in the near future. I currently have the stock 245/60R18 Michelin Latitude Tour HP on there now. Just not a huge fan of them. So I figured I would throw it out there and see what people are replacing their tires with. Living in CT driving in snow is important and I do not run a dedicated snow tire. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ron
  3. Hey Everyone, So I had my first service on my Edge a few weeks ago. The computer had not chimmed in to say it was time to bring it in for service yet, but I was going down to New Jersey and New York to work flood vehicle claims due to hurricane sandy so I wanted to have the car serviced as I was unsure how much driving I would be doing. The dealer I use for service said I should bring it in every 5k to not listen to the vehicles computer which tells you when the vehicle needs service? So I figured I would post and see what everyone else is going? I have the 2011 model. Thanks, Ron
  4. I went with the weather tech one....it fits great. I also have the floor liner digital fit mats from weather tech as well. Worth every penny.
  5. I hear that...I ended up going with 28%. I figured with the vista roof letting in so much light I was worried that 35 would seem too light, even having black leather inside.
  6. Ok well at least I am not the only person who seems to notice the haze. I know there is a dry time but mine are way past that and i still see the haze from time to time. I am east of hartford so not that far. How dark did you get?
  7. It was solor gard. The guy who did the tints uses quality films.
  8. About 2 weeks ago I had my front doors of my edge tinted. The guy that did them does an amazing job!! I then noticed that at certain angles and depending on the sunlight outside the window looks a bit hazy. They appear to be fully dry at this point. I was told when the windows were tinted that the front windows are laminated, which I did not know till they were tinted. Could this be the possible cause of when I look out the window it can sometimes be hazy? Its not always like this, some times its clear as day. It usually happens when the sun is on the side of the vehicle and angle of the sun. This was a different tint that he used on my other vehicle and it never did that on my other car and was wondering if it had anything to do with the laminated glass? Any feed back would be helpful. Thanks, Ron
  9. Yes there seem to be, as I look around the form...My next may be some lighting....
  10. Hello everyone....I just picked up a used 2011 Ford Edge Limited AWD about 3 weeks ago. Its a Bordeaux Reserved Red with Black Leather. I figured this would be a good place to get some good ideas for doing some mods to it, and help with any questions. I have never joined a forum before but have a buddy who has joined very many and said it would be a great idea, so here I am. So far the list of things I have done to the Edge in the past 3 weeks is small. I have ordered and put in weather tech floor mats and cargo liner, which are the best. I have had them in my prior vehicle which was an 06 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. I have tinted the front two windows. I am making an appointment soon to get a remote car starter installed in the near future. I like to keep things simple, but I would like to do a few more things to make it mine.
