  1. Yeh mine came today too, GTA. Install took around 40mins So far looks Good.....Cleaner and faster.....now see a tab for travel-link with not subscribed under all headings (Fuel prices etc) except Sirrius Radio
  2. Good advice .........If there are codes stored and you have a decent scanner you can pull Freeze frame data and see exactly what was going on at the time of the code setting. Its great tool to see the whole picture, its helped me diagnose many customers issues over the years
  3. Possibly plugs, Is the Check Engine Light on? If so scanning would be the first step in diagnosis, TRYnostics can be an expensive road
  4. I replaced a damaged one last week,it's not as simple as it looks
  5. It looks simple at a glance but the timing cover has to be removed because it is attatched to the pan which means valve covers etc also need removing along with PS etc....nice weekend job its good fun
  6. Bit late on a reply but its a major job involving removal of the motor...whole job is around 15 - 20 hours
  7. Most techs in dealerships get paid flat rate , in other words if a job calls for 2 hours and I complete it in 1 I still get paid for the two hours. The PCV valve is located in the valve cover and will require you to remove crank vent tube from the valve which is screwed into the valve cover, once removed you will have no option to replace the pcv as the locking mechanism is damaged during removal. Good luck
  8. I've spoken to a Tech i know at a Ford dealer and he's been told mailing started the 2nd and will run for 2 to 3 weeks
