I just went in for my second seal and was going to pick it up this afternoon. Got a call saying that the PTU needs to be replaced. The service manager said that there was a service bulletin from Ford that went out saying that the only way to fix the seal problem is to replace the whole PTU... But it looks like they are going to use that as the way to fix them from now on at least. Hopefully that fixes this problem for good.
