Hi, I need help in identifying what the following problem may be. I have 2012 Edge Limited with 95,000 miles. Brakes were checked about 3 weeks ago and I was told they are all good. What is happening is when the vehicle is being driven after several miles (more than 20 say), every once in a while I will feel/hear a grinding in the brake pedal when braking at very low speeds (5-15 mph). It originally started to happen when turning left at 5-15 mph such as turning in to a driveway or parking lot, etc. It does seem to happen now when slowing down at say a stop sign when not turning at 5-20 mph, but it still happens when turning also. It doesn't happen very often and it is definitly after driving the vehicle for a while (it doesn't happen from a cold start, say when leaving for work in the morning and making a 15 mile commute). A good example is this last extended weekend (4 day trip), I put about 1,000 miles on the vehicle mostly highway driving and it happened a handful (5-6) of times when stopping at very low speed (5-15mph). Never on the highway. I'm not mechanically inclined and have been reading many of the threads and searched online to see if I can determine where to start to diagnose the problem. Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
