  1. First of all I guess don't know the year of my edge it's a 2007 same question? I'M assuming your saying that trac control is "overdrive" so leave it on when towing. How about using cruise? On flat highway ok hills turn it off I assume. One more ? receiver I have has a J shape, better to turn up or down or does it matter. Thanks
  2. Hi I've got a 2006 ford edge fwd 3.6 v6 and I am wanting to tow a 2006 lowe stinger 175 bass boat approx total weight 2500lbs. Ford says it should handle it with no problems. My concern is towing w/ fwd if been told this in not a good idea, because of overheating trannys. It is equipped with towing package. Should I have any concerns, should I use all trac when towing. Any input would be appreciated. It has 40k miles.Fishtail possibly? Thanks slackeribew
  3. Anybody had an issue with the top weatherstrip on the very tip of rear door hatch, I've purchased a 2007 Edge and it is rotten, The dealer don't show it. It has a metal strip that fastens to the inside of hatch and a rubber 3/4 weatherstrip(it appears to keep snow and rain out of gap between top and where the rear doot hatch meet. The metal strip is either welded or glued(very well) I've trimmed the rotten rubber flush with the top of hatch. It now has a gap. When you open the hatch it will allow water down the hatch rails(which seems to be the way it was designed) Without the weaterstrip it will let snow and ice build up and probably won't let you open the back hatch. Anybody know exactly what I'm talking about? Your input would be much appreciated. Or where you can buy one? Thanks Mike
