Hey, I do have a couple questions for ya! First of all , this sounds absolutely perfect, what x-pipe did you end up using for the install? What steps did you take to remove the resonator, and will it pass inspection after the res delete? Thank you ?
The Xpipe was just put together from a local muffler shop. No special brand. Just cut off the resonator and welded the x-pipe into place. Yes, it did pass inspection in TN because the cats were not removed.

That looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks FourBigRIms - I really like how the lower grille turned out. Not sure why FORD didn't put one on like that from the factory. Small detail but looks great!

WOW! That is sharp as heck and tastefully done! Got a link for the lighted emblem on your February post?
Thanks TSQUALE! I have had many great comments throughout this year. Heading up to Roush next year with it. Can't wait to see their reaction.
Here is the link:

This doesn't fit exactly in the opening on the front grille but you can tie it down from the back and make it tight. Looks fine!

What made you select paint over a vinyl wrap for the engine cover? Do you feel paint will hold up inasmuch as it's so flexible?
What did you use for the chrome accents?
(Car is excellent, by the way).
I painted it in high heat red. I didn't feel the vinyl would hold up on plastic. Now the vinyl does hold up against the heat as the strut tower brace is wrapped.
Thanks for the comments - It turns heads everywhere it goes!

@DBEDGE23 - Can you provide the source for your steering wheel wrap, I am loving the look of that. Was it easy to install? Thanks!

Just put your year in and see if it's still available. It's not hard to do but does take ALOT time. Comes with everything you need. Needle, Tape and thread in choice of colors.
Also check youtube for installation help. Might not be one up there for an Edge but many for other cars which the installation is the same. -

Looks great! I'd definitely be interested in adding those brakes to mine. One area I think my Edge is lacking.
Thanks. Those are Rotora brakes and they are still available on their site.

Yea i dunno about that. Seems like upbadging
I did a Roush Theme because Ford and Roush could easily have taken this car to this level. With all the upgrades that I have done to the car both visually and mechanical they could have easily put something together.
Plus its great to show up Dodge and their lineup of SUVs. Of course can't beat a TrackHawk in a race but sometimes I may look better.

Do you have a link to the clear cover?
I am wanting to order this, but only see the black cover.
Thank you.
Interesting...I just checked and looks like they don't have it on their website. I would call to see what is up.
I know they had mentioned that material shortage caused a lot of delays so maybe they took that version down from the website until a later time.

does it make the turbos sound louder or is the noise the same. I miss the turbo spool sound on my acura tsx.
I think it sounds the same. But I can sure feel the difference. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Also sorry for the slow response. I didn't get a notification that my thread updated. -
I know there has been a couple of threads on the AFE box fitting the 2015 Edge. Just wanted to let everyone know that the 19-21 EDGE AFE AIR BOX fits like a glove in the 2015 Sport. The AFE box sits right in the bottom of the OEM box.
Connects to the stock tubing with no issues. Of course the backorder was an issue but the wait was worth it. It looks perfect and definitely can feel some power increase.
I don't have a dyno at my house *LOL* so can't give you numbers but I do feel some power increase.... Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

This post is way over due....
Click the links below for Idle and a video of some revs to about 3000-4000 rpm.
Again this is true dual exhaust with X-pipe, no resonator of course and into MRT mufflers. I love the Turbo spool sound!!! Enjoy.
Feel free to ask any questions about the install. But is pretty straight forward.

Has anyone thought about or attempted to modify this CAI to work with the 2.7L Twin Turbo?
K&N is suggesting that on the 3.5L version it will pick up 15.3 HP @ 5802 RPM & 13.1 lbft @ 3498 RPM
Performance Air Intake System (knfilters.com) - 2015-2018 EDGE 3.5L
I know we have had many attempts at CAIs and was wondering if this one has been tried!
Thanks!

One person has ordered, 4 to go to start a run. PM me or say something here and I will contact you with details. A reminder the shop will close for Christmas through the New Year. If Santa is to make the Christmas deadline he needs to get started ASAP. The carbon CAI has been scheduled to be molded . I will give an update and report as soon as I know what’s up. It was supposed to be done today.
I just PM'd you XTRA - Count me in.

Hey everyone!
2015 Ford Edge Sport 2.7 TT - Just some quick pictures of my new exhaust midsection. X Pipe - into MRT mufflers that were already installed.
Let me tell you no need to run any resonator with MRT mufflers. It sounds like someone open up the valves on a valvetronic exhaust.
You can really hear what the MRT mufflers are suppose to sound like. Taking off from a stop is awesome with a nice deep tone.
Sound clips - Idle-Rev-drive by are coming....Thanks!!

Where are you located?
What year & model is your Edge?
If you live a reasonable distance I can help out by providing him with what he needs using my original parts & car if necessary.
Thanks for that offer.
I live in Tennessee. 2015 Ford Edge Sport 2.7L FWD.
I have attached a picture of my MRT Axle Back exhaust. Since I don't have AWD the pipes are closer together by the rear axle.

Yes that is the Cat back to the muffler section, contact Zury for the cost.
Many of us would probably appreciate a sound clip if you do this with the MRT mufflers.
The contact Info is 13-14 posts back from this one, Zury Fabrications...???
So this is what I got back from Zury when I asked him about making the cat back section:
Good morning, so we do everything custom to the car. We wouldn’t be able to produce and ship. If you are located close we can definitely do the this section but would need the vehicle. It wouldn’t require getting the downpipes/hiflo cats as well. I’m not too familiar with MRT exhausts, but whatever we make would be able to mate to current setup. If you have any further questions give us a call or text at 4435173810
Those were resonators provided by the customer.
Which sucks because I would love to have this section.

Super nice job on that exhaust as well as some great photos . This is by far the best set up on an Edge that I have ever seen. The design and execution is top shelf. Just a few questions if you don't mind. I might have missed it but what is the diameter of the pipe? And I am wondering if those are two mufflers that I see in line, if so can I get some more info on them. Like the size, make and model. Thanks.
So what is the price of this section and how do we order it? This is the Cat Back section correct?
I assume it will bolt up to the stock Cats section/down-pipes?
I bet this would sound awesome with the MRT Axle Back mufflers.

Yes, I have 2015 Sport and the AFE dropped right in with no issues.
Actually. got the AFE guys on an email chain. They now say it supports earlier years but when you go out to their website and search by vehicle it will pull it up for earlier years. But still says - Ford Edge ST 19-22 V6-2.7L (tt) in the description...LOL!
I got lucky and was able to get one of their clear covers. I don't think they make it anymore. But call them to find out.
Here are some pics for you:
