I would just like to point out that i went through all the trouble to buy the 2011 ford edge sport 22's to replace the older sport model rims on my 2009 edge. Despite being practically identical rims, the new rims DONT fit the older car......... The reason is that the center hubs on the newer edges are smaller then the older ones. It cause the wheel to sit on that lip as opposed to the hub. Not cool... So after i spent yesterday morning at the tire shop having new tires and tpms installed to learn the hard way that you should always double check ALL your measurements. Today i am gonna try and get a machine shop to cut out some of the aluminum on the back of the wheel so they will fit the car. Which means ill have to have the wheels taken apart and then put back together.....again...and at $40 a peice to mount its turning into a chunk of change.... Ill post some pictures later so you get a better idea of whst im talking about

I bought myself a set of h&r's they should be in the mail next week, i was wondering how hard it was to install the rear springs. The fronts are no problem, i can do those in my sleep, but ive never messed with the system the edge has on the rear..can anyone point me in the right direction..

Thanks, its the gray seude leather, its just really hard and has no lower back support, looks nice and all, just not very comfortable...i was thing about trying out some seats in an mkx, if they are any better i might just get some and have them recovered

Just thought id introduce myself. Been an owner of my 2009 ford edge sport for about a year and have been working on it whenever time and money allow. If i had to change anything on my edge it would be to get the newer sport sideskirts on my 09 and to change out the seats, i dunno if its just the sport model but the seats in this car are terrible and its only got 36k miles. Ill try to get some pics up. But for the most part it looks pretty standard for a sport.

I finally came up with enough money for wheels tires and springs so now my next project is either gonna be brakes or headlight conversion. I was windering if anyone has purchased those black zinc coated rotors and have had them installed for a while. Are rhe cooling fins still black or are they showing signs of rust. I understand that the braking surface itself will loose its color, but i was wondering if the excessive heat messes with the coating on the rest of the rotor. Id like to buy a set of ebc for all four corners but not if they are going to show rust after a year or so of use.

I had a custom exhaust installed and i took these home to see if i might be able to sell them. They are the oem mufflers to my 2009 ford edge sport model. I have them listed on ebay. I have a set of projector headlights that i have purchased, they have never been installed. I decided to a go a different route and will try to build my own.
