ford, or no other company for that matter can deny a warranty claim because the car has aftermarket parts, unless the part ACTUALLY caused the problem to start with. that is law, trust me, had this go around with several manufacturers...

ok, so finally i have found some wheels i like, and want to know if anybody on here is running them. they are from Zinik, they have several different styles i like, but what i want to know is about the quality. how well are they made? do you need to run hub rings? will these wheels cause my car to vibrate at highway speeds? i have run aftermarket wheels on other FWD cars before and they all vibrated like crazy causing me to go back to the stock wheels, and i don't want to do that with the Edge. i appreciate any help. thanks!

no offense, but i can't hear anything from this sound clip. it sounds more quiet than stock to me. my stock exhaust with 25K miles on it is way louder than what i can hear on this sound clip.

ok, took the Edge in for service last week and to have some things checked out and fixed. one of them being the power steering. i don't know if it's the tires or what it is, but they actually performed a TSB concerning the banjo bolt or whatnot, i don't have the paperwork in front of me, or i would post the TSB number. but the reason i was concerned, when you are turning, and at a very slow speed, like into a driveway or garage, the steering would feel like it was "dragging", kind of like low air pressure in a tire, but i run 40 pounds of air so i know it's not that. well, to make a longer story short, i have had my Edge back since tuesday of this week, and it just started doing it again. has anyone else experienced this with their Edge? any help or advice would be appreciated. by the way, mine is an '07 with about 22K miles on it.

yeah, if the tuner would have eliminated the light, i would not get the sensors, but looks like i will be getting them afterall...

ok, well i think i finally narrowed it down to the wheels and tires i want for my wife's Edge. they are the new Sport Edition wheels from Tire Rack that look like old style muscle car wheels. i will be running the 20x9 with 275/45/20 General Grabber UGP's. i think this will be a nice additon to the Edge. plus i am going to be doing an old school muscle car theme with it. the ? i have, i know i need the TPMS sensors, and i don't really want to use the factory stuff as i want to keep them mounted and balanced for winter. so will the SCT tuner wipe out the TPMS light if the sensors are not used? i know on the mustangs, the tuner will wipe out the MIL light if you don't use the MIL eliminators. just wondering if the SCT tuner has the same capabilities for the TPMS? does anybody on here know? i would like to have the tuner anywhere, and if it will eliminate the TPMS light from lighting up, it will have a double benefit to me. i appreciate any help with this thanks!
