Yeah that seems like the way to go. Thats the rewiring part I mentioned. With the pigtails coming out of the body for the tails there's no way to separate them there. But running a link from the 3rd would solve the brake light issue.. Same thing for the 11-13 edge tail light swap be that a bit more involved but u get the idea

Good idea but it would take some rewireing on your part as the edge uses the brighter filiment in the taillight bulb for the brake and turn signal theres no way to separate the two in the back. The smaller/dimmer filiment is for running lights only

There not. Trust me I thought the same thing. It's the perfect combination. No cop trouble at all. Honestly looks like its supposed to be there!
