  5. Well lets see, I agree with the gun storage behind the center stack. Also my 2013 has a false bottom in the center armrest/box. You can hide a ton of stuff in there. I also agree on the auto dimming side view mirrors. Would be a nice touch. Also add/incorporate blind spot mirrors to the side mirrors. Make 285/35-22 tires on 9.5" rims an option, looks much better.(already on) If its gonna be a "Sport" model, use the Eibach or H&R springs to lower it(already in mine) Make a supercharger available.(425-450bhp) Drivers door opening needs to be 1" wider. Getting my prostetic leg in is a pain. LED interior lights(overheads, map lights and cargo area) Already did the LED DRL, puddle light in the mirrors and license plate lights. Yeah, a better cargo cover would be nice too. (one that you don't have to unhook it from the seats to fold them down!) That should do it for now. Bob
  6. Ya know, I asked this very question on another forum. Is it a boy car or a girl car? What should I name it? Well, a girl in Fla. told me to call her/him/it "Sandy". It was the reason I had to buy it in the first place(my Sport Trac was destroyed in the hurricane). So Sandy it is. It could be a boy car. Or a girl car. Bottom line is it's mine and I really like it. Ford does make some great vehicles! Bob
  7. Hello from the "right coast". I picked up my new one on 11/19/12. Its been three weeks of reading and playing with all the stuff and I still don't have it anywhere near mastered yet! Pretty cool truck(vehicle) huh?? Already tinted the front windows to match the back ones. Just ordered the K&N intake kit. We'll see how that goes. Even though I'm new too, welcome. Bob
  8. Hi all. New here. Just picked up a 2013 Edge Sport down in New Castle, Delaware. My '08 Sport Trac was submerged during the flood from Sandy. It was a hot little truck that I had done a bunch of things to. All in the name of looks and speed. Anyway, I chose the Edge so my wife would be able to get to the hospital in bad weather. Its AWD with just about every option. I think its a pretty cool ride. ride is nice, good power(haven't really gotten into it yet) and I'm getting about 19-20mpg. I still hang out at mysporttrac.com. Great bunch of folks over there. Great info and tips. So I'm kinda hoping to get the same here. No BS, no verbal attacks, just good stuff to do to my new truck. I've already checked out a K&N intake, the Magnaflow exhaust and talked to my tuner down in Fla. to set up an SCT programmer with a couple of performance tunes for the motor/trannie. I've also contacted Eibach suspensions. I'm an amputee and if the truck were just a bit lower, it would be so much easier to get into. They make a set of 1.5" lower springs for the Edge. No other equipment is available from them at this time. And lastly, I gonna put the 22" wheels from my ST onto the edge, 285/35-22 on a 9.5" rim. If this sounds like I'm headed in the right direction, let me know. I hope to perhaps make contact with some of you in the area(Forked River, NJ). Thanks and I'mm looking forward to some advice. Bob
