  1. The appointment went just as they told me. It took about an hour and a half. The staff at Ford of Uniontown is always very friendly and helpful! Fortunately, I don't have to go there much to get things fixed, but because of the professionalism, I go there for routine maintenance.
  2. WWW...They did tell me that. Thanks for pointing that out! The service department was very nice and professional.
  3. I took my Edge to the dealership today for this issue. They said that Ford is recommending that they clean the sensor, reinstall, and test. If this doesn't work they will then replace it. I'm assuming that Ford is recommending this because the replacement part is on back order. So far it is working but they still charged me my $100 ESP deductible.
  4. I didn't have to use any jacks or ramps. I'm a pretty tall guy (6'3", 200lbs) and I could reach everything fine.
  5. Hello everyone! I've had my Edge for a while now, and this is the first time I changed the oil myself. I couldn't believe how easy it was. The hardest part was cleaning the oil I spilled on my driveway. So...for anyone who is thinking about doing it themselves, I say "go for it". After buying the filter and oil, I saved about $20 from taking it to the dealership and it only took me about 20 minutes.
  6. Welcome! What part of Vegas are you from? My brother-in-law lives there and I just got back from a visit. I definitely recommend taking your new Edge to this "dive" bar called Naked City Pizza. They've got the best pizza I've had in a long time!

  8. So...after my rant about Meguiar's NXT 2.0, I said I would also review the Dodo Juice Hard Velvet and Purple Haze products (I bought the 30ml containers in case I wasn't happy with the products.) Here it is: After prepping the Edge, I began with the Hard Velvet. The wax was easy to apply, and by far, was the easiest wax to remove that I've ever used. As a bonus, it also smelled pretty good. Once removed, the Edge looked great! Good enough to stop the process then, but it was recommended that a coat of the Purple Haze be added next. The Purple Haze did exactly what it promised. It enhanced the shine and made the metallic flake in the paint shimmer. It's been a few weeks since these waxes were applied, and after a quick wash and dry, the Edge still looks like I just waxed it. Overall, I am very pleased with these products and am looking forward to trying more of them. Now, if someone has a product out there that will restore the black plastic trim and last longer than one or two weeks, please let me know. Currently, I am using Poorboys World Trim Restorer. I'm pretty happy with it, but wish I wouldn't have to reapply every two weeks.
  9. I had something similar happen to me, but not with my Edge. It turned out to be a loose brake caliper. Since the technician thought it h ad to be in the suspension, they never checked that.
  10. http://www.rokform.com/rokbed-v3-rms/ You can mount it anywhere you'd like. That's why I like this setup. The link above has a video that highlights this.

  12. After what seemed like an endless winter in the northeast, I finally got a chance to "detail" my Tuxedo Black Edge. Before I started, I watched almost every video on Autogeek's Youtube channel, and I decided to buy some products that I never used before (Meguiar's clay, clay lubricant, NXT 2.0, and Poorboys Trim Restorer) to give my ride that extra "pop". To make a long story short, the car looked great after washing, drying, and claying the paint. Then, I applied the NXT expecting great things and to use the word "disappointed" would be quite an understatement. I think the Edge was glossier before I applied the 2.0. I reviewed the product before I bought it and everything sounded great. After my results, I went on Amazon to look at their customer reviews and they were similar. So out of curiosity I started reading the "1-star" reviews and noticed a pattern. Almost all of them came from people using the NXT on black vehicles. After finding this out, I recently purchased some Dodo Juice Hard Velvet and Purple Haze. I plan on reviewing these products as well so other Edge owners aren't as disappointed as I was.
  13. Hello Edge owning friends! I have a small (nickle sized) dent in the hood of my Edge. I was going to try to pop it out myself, but it is on the front vertical part of the hood and the metal isn't accessible, at least from what I could see. Has anyone ever had this happen and fixed? Will a paintless dent removal service be able to take care of it?
  14. Thanks or the info everyone! Accord....I'm sold just by your pics. Thanks!
