  1. I just saw the 2 year free subscription commercial when they showed a Ford Fusion. However, you may have missed the deal as they were just starting to have them. Unless, it may just be for the Fusions.
  2. Oh wow. Poor little guy! I think the only real way to ever fix a lemon is to just to remove everything and start all over again. This Edge that I found was from the same dealership I believe. The carfax showed that it was a 3 month lease, one owner, it was brought back and they did their inspection, cleaned it up and put up for sale again. Other than that it showed no other issues reported. However, I do hope it's a factory certified pre-owned or at least do as good of inspection as they would do.
  3. Try doing a lot of research about the Edge before you buy. I have gone from Kbb.com , Edmunds.com, Nada guides and truecar.com to find the true car price. If there is a specific model and package you like and want to go for it, point out more of what you don't like about it. (I would like this package however, I don't like ...) Look at different Ford dealers for their price, if you can go to other ford dealers try to deal with them. I heard it helps to play different dealers against each other to get the best deal. My parents didn't go for the ford edge, they went with a Chevy Equniox and they just couldn't deal with this one guy at the Chevy dealer, but they found someone better to talk to and neogate with to get the price they wanted. I'm looking to buy a Ford edge, just not in the postion to buy just yet but I've been doing a lot of research on the vehicle and checking out the true purchase price / market value so I know exactly what price I should pay when I'm ready to go in. You can always look up on google how to get the best online price for a car. The only thing about buying a car online, you should always test drive the car first to be sure nothing is wrong with it. =)
  4. Thank you both for your answers! I did search the VIN number finally and found CarFax was the only one that provided all the info I needed for free. There weren't any issues reported, turns out it was a leased vehicle for only 3 months before being returned, checked, serviced and put back up for sale. ^_^
  5. I finally found a gently used 2013 Edge limited. It has less than 7,000 miles on it and has that diamond white paint and the 302 A Package that I've been looking for. The market price for this car says a little over $33,000 but this dealer has it listed for $35,600. The website I saw this car on said that it was a poor deal as it was $2,000+ over priced. However, it's been on the lot for over 70 days. It seems strange that a 2013 edge with that low of milage would be sitting on the lot for so long. My concerns are: -Maybe there could be something wrong with the car for someone to trade it in so early and that's why it's taking too long to sell. -And the dealership isn't exactly close. I wonder if the dealer closer to me could actually bring that car over and maybe could get it for a cheaper price? I just hope there isn't anything wrong with the car and I don't get locked into buying the car before I could actually take a look at it myself and give it a test drive.
  6. I don't have an edge (yet). But I had to replace my whole stereo in my car because the CD player crapped out. After that, my car battery went dead. I had to jump the battery 2-3 times, but found out it was a bad connection or the connection to the battery had become loose over time. My Torrent also went through the changing CD phase, it's just something that it also does but works just fine when the radio and CD player adjust itself. I do know that after so many years the batteries do need replaced, maybe you just might need a better battery. Highly doubt it's the car itself. (BTW: my car was bought new in 2006 and my orginal battery died back in 2009... I also have my car sitting for periods of time with the alarm on which can also strain the battery.)
  7. I've been saving up for a new 2013 Ford Edge Limited with the 302 A package but don't want the Vista Roof option. I've also been doing a lot of research as well as looking up a fair purchase price for this vehicle equipped with the 302 A. Anyways, I've found on KBB.com the fair purchase price with everything but the vista roof is about $35,600 - $35,800, On Edmunds it doesn't allow me to remove the Vista roof option so it's priced about $37,000. I plan to do a trade in as well as a good down payment, but would starting off price range wise, would $35,500 be too low? I was hoping to get a 2013 in the next 5-6 months, depending on my situation so maybe by then getting a fully loaded Limited Edge for $36,500 - $37,000 out the door would be possible? Does anyone know when the clearance for the 2013 Edge's will be happening or what month I should go in a get one before the Fully loaded Limiteds are going to be gone? I don't want to wait too long, but I have to be sure I have enough saved and get this new job coming up.
