After telling the salesmen I bought mine from that I heard via the blogs it was not true that you had to wait 3 months (he did not say 4 as some others apparently were told) before you could pay off your loan, he came clean an said that it was indeed not true, but if you refi before 3 payments the dealer (not you) get credited back for your 1K incentive. For course the finance manager said they could come after me for the incentive if I paid it off not knowing the sales guy already told me this was not the case. Shady!

So I ended up getting mine from another dealer closer to my house. SEL 205a + 20" wheels + Nav + liftgate + vision + vista roof. Total before rebates and taxes came to 34,426. Took advantage of the full 3K in rebates and will refi. Thanks for your help.

Cool. Thanks. I assume the 31,318 was after rebates and before tax and title? Any additional detail would be helpful.
