  1. Thanks CinnamonEdge! Went to Ace Hardware $6 for Krylon Fusion Plastic Paint- color: Nickel Shimmer. Perfect match. You have to be really careful and tape the crap out of what you don't want to paint and cover the door opening with a blanket. The over spray creeps into every little crack. Looks like new and took twenty minutes. Most of it taping.
  2. 2013 Limited Door Ajar. Had intermittent problem and took it in under warranty at 35,500 miles. They did not fix it. 38,900 miles now. Problem got to be every time I closed the door. I sprayed with electrical cleaner, and the dry spray for a couple weeks and no go. I filled out an online complaint with Ford and they called me in a day or two. The nice lady gave me a file number and told me to take it to the dealer for them to look at again. They tried to repair the part but ended up replacing it under warranty. The service writer said they are having a bunch of problems with this part. Hope you all are as lucky as I was. They even washed the car!
  3. Same thing as everyone. 2011edgese had good luck so I have done the same, find his pics and spray with electrical cleaner. Also I always have luck not slamming the door but gently closing it, works every time I remember to do it. Just weird.
  4. I turned off the speed compensating volume control and loaded the newest software. It is fixed! 2013 Limited, I am happy with this fix.
  5. Sorry for the second post. When I opened this on the wife's IPad it did not come up right away. Silly Pad!
  6. I saw Brandon302 on the Mustang Forum turned off the Speed Compensating Volume Control. I did that and stuffed some foam under the head liner. The volume control was the real fix. Big improvement. I can; however, believe that the dealer does not have a clue. I pray we never have a real problem with this car.
  7. I also stuffed some foam under the head liner and helped a bit. Brandon302 on the Mustang forum suggested turning off the speed compensating volume control. It made an enormous difference. I was going to update the software but not so sure now.
