Just ordered the Dorman 937-628 after chatting with a Dorman rep.. gave him my vin and he confirmed the Dorman is a direct replacement for my Edge.. anxious to install it...!!

From what I have read a lot of guys who had the Ford part replaced had the same problem within a year.. appears Ford has not fixed the problem.. gotta do a little more research on the Dorman part before I buy it.. Adv Auto has it listed for about a hundred bux...

is this the correct part number for my 2013 Edge 8T4Z7821813A door latch with ajar switch..?? and it appears Dorman makes an aftermarket replacement 937-628.. anybody tried or used the Dorman...??

Love my 2013 Edge.. Just ran out of warranty two months ago and the damn door ajar problem popped up.. ready to do the clean the switch job but I would like to have a new "door ajar switch" so the next time it happens I can replace the plunger switch.. does anybody have the Ford part number for the door ajar switch..??
