  1. The Battery is good, its 12.7 volts, I have not checked it running in awhile but I know its good. I manage a battery distributorship so I have that covered lol. If I listen for the pump I hear it, but when the no start occurs its generally when I am hopping in it at a store or whatever so i am not paying attention. It doesn't happen often enough that I am always alert for it. Its happened 3 times in the last year. I just know that the one time it decides to not start at all will be when its cold and raining and she has our two year old boy with her so I am trying to prevent that tragedy haha. This is the old fashioned key start model. We have two keys and I use them both but have never paid attention to which one I am using when this happens.
  2. Hello, my wife has had a 2010 Sport for a few years now. We bought it used with 52,000 miles on it. Did the sport come with a different exhaust(besides just the tips?) It actually has some exhaust note and is not loud by any means but it does make more noise than most newer cars(its good noise for a V6). Inside you don't hear it so much but I noticed the other day when she backed up our incredibly steep driveway that it actually has a pretty good note when under a little load. Thanks for any information. Clark 2010 Edge Sport
  3. Hello, my wife has a 2010 Edge Sport with 77K miles on it. It occasionally will not start on the first time. Its done it three times now in varying conditions of weather engine temp etc. When you hit the key it will crank the car for awhile and the car will not start. Hit the key again and it starts and runs just like normal. It doesn't even try to start, just cranks. I have an OBDII scanner and it doesn't have any codes stored, and it has never triggered a check engine light etc. Crazy enough it has never done this to my wife only me(thank god). Its got 77K on the original plugs which I don't think should be a problem. Runs perfect otherwise. Thanks for any help Clark 2010 Edge Sport
  4. Look into the MT7 series of AGM Batteries from Interstate. Not cheap, but great product. I run an MT7-34R in my wife's 2010 Edge Sport and I have been very happy with it. I do work for Interstate but honestly believe this is a killer product, it is not made by Johnson Controls.
  5. Thanks for the welcome everyone. I had to run to Dallas and back this last sunday(540 miles roughly) so I took the edge to see what it was like on the road. I was happy with it, 23mpg average for the trip with a 62mph average speed. It didn't wear me out and the nav worked pretty good. So far we love it.
  6. Hello, My wife and I just got her 2010 Edge Sport two weeks ago, so far we really like it. Not the best pic but here it is We have a baby on the way so we chose this and sold out 2005 Acura TL six speed. So far the edge has been great. I have already fixed the seat belt squeak, I can't imagine someone lived with that for 52K miles that are on it but I guess they did. Looks like a great forum Clark
