Yep, I plasti dipped the top chrome lip above the headlights, and the headlights themselves to get rid of the amber, came out looking very clean!

Ahhh. Yea that looks great Dingo Love the black grill on white! Are those billet badges or the stick on vinyl? I'm afraid to do the vinyl because I don't want the raised ford lettering to show through. I'm too afraid to plasti dip my entire grill because I think it'll be a lack of contrast (part of me still likes the chrome)

Thanks, Yeah the possiblities are endless with Plasti Dip. I was actually thinking of doing a racing stripe on the hood before I even saw this post, haha. I was going to ask you about the headlights since Dynamikillu51ons lives only a few hours drive from me but I can't PM you yet since I only have 2 posts (well, 3 now).

Hey Cellbine, I got a little crazy with Plasti Dip too, I really wanted to black out the amber corners on the headlights and see what it looked like (Ultimately I'd like to get some custom headlights, but this was a cheap alternative to satisfy my curiousity). I think it came out pretty good for my first try. This Plasti Dip stuff is too fun. What do you think, should I black out the whole grille?

Hey everyone, Picked up my 2013 Edge Limited in Tuxedo Black about 3 weeks ago, loving it so far and I've got a laundry list of mods I am already thinking about, so hopefully I will be a frequent poster / visiter to these forums So far I've done HIDs (vleds.com 6K 35 Wat), Front license plate removal: Riveted out the front plate and found a perfect fit at The Home Depot to plug the holes, $2 and looks great in the chrome bumper - http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-4-in-Nickel-Plated-Steel-Hole-Plug-13068/100337464#.UdBt542G2VI Plasti Dip Fun: I decided to try a reverse sport model, and I really wanted to black out the amber portions of the headlights. This was my first experiment into plasti dip and I think I am going to re-do it to sharpen up the edges but I think it came out really great. Next on the list? Switchback LEDs for turn signals, some tint up front, and I think some decepticon ford emblem replacements! Thanks guys, Nice meeting you all.
