  1. I can get a good deal on some Pirelli 275/40/22 for my 2011 Sport but i always bought 265/40/22. I know they’ll clear but would there be any issues with the wider tire on that 22” sport rim as far as load or drive issues.
  2. Thanks I appreciate the reply. It definitely is that low growling and it seems more to the drivers rear wheel. I ordered the new bearing and will be installing it this weekend. Thank you
  3. I started having a loud rear end noise when moving forward over 25mph. It sounds like it could be a rear wheel hub but I am unsure since I have never experienced one making noise. When taking a turn to the right it seems to get a bit louder like the load is being put on the left rear wheel so my guess is it could be the rear left. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thank you
  4. Just had this happen on my 2011 Sport. I can slide the glass forward by hand but it stays vented. Still no luck getting the glass to close fully and sit down....what a pain
  5. Im aware it changes to bright turquoise when exiting/entering the vehicle. I always had it set to dark red. I will enter the vehicle and start it and the color will be something different. Lately, I have the ambient lighting set to OFF and the bright turquoise will stay ON after entering and starting the vehicle. Its so weird. I have written Ford in the past with no luck so I am not confident any communication with them will help. My local dealer has no answers. No surprise. lol
  6. Ever since I updated the SYNC system a few weeks ago the ambiant lighting will not stay off. I turn it off through the menu and then the next time I start my Edge it is back on. It happens pretty much everyday. Anyone having this issue?
  7. I had my check engine light come on last week, I stopped into a local parts store and they were able to pull the code which ended up being an evap leak. I called the dealer and they couldnt get me in right away so I drove the Edge for a few days. The check engine light ended up going off so I canceld my appt. I pushed my finger into the capless hole a few times. I dont think that did anything but i heard that the capless systems dont always seal correctly and it can reseal the system.

    2011 Edge Sport

nothing you all haven't seen, just my 2011 Ford Edge Sport
  9. ok cool. I realized I typed 2011 Sport when I should have typed 2011. lol
  10. Sorry I still havent put any pics up, the parts are sitting in my garage. I wrote 5 letters to various departments at Ford, including William Ford jr, Fredrick Tooney who is the global CEO of customer service. I also sent a letter to the Board of Directors. Who knows where it will get me, if anywhere, but at least I feel like I had a right to complain lol
  11. I found this place on facebook that does custom HID lighting for many vehicles. The website is www.sickhids.com. The about section of the site says he is out of California but ships worldwide. I sent him an email for a quote on my 2001 Edge Sport....
  12. My moonroof seems like it could use a little lubrication. I was wondering what I should use? Litium grease, or would wd 40 be ok? I know wd 40 doesnt last long, especially when it gets wet. Thanks
  13. Thanks everyone. I guess it really isnt a brake problem per say lol The issue, I feel, is with Ford not backing their materials. Knock on wood, I havent had any major issues with my Ford vehicles.
  14. Hi everyone, owner of a 2011 Edge Sport silver, had a 2008 Edge Limited prior to this then a 2006 Explorer Eddie Bauer and a 2003 Sport Trac before that. Havent been on a vehicle forum since the Sport Trac, which I did all sorts of stuff to. I love the Edge Sport. Having some brake issues right now, I posted about them on the brake forum. Hope I can get some answers from Ford because I am losing faith in them day by day. Have a good one.
  15. Yes, I will put up some pics, most likely tomorrow. I am saving all of the old parts just in case I do get somewhere with Ford. I read some stuff online about Disk Thickness Variation (DTV) and how the calipers can be slower to open. It basically machines the rotors over time and breaks them down. This sounds exactly like what the rear passanger wheel I took it in for was doing, the caliper wasnt opening back up enough to allow the rotor to spin freely. I know I live in a region with more snow and our city uses salt on the roads but I have never had this happen on any vehicle at 28,000 miles I have ever owned, let alone a Ford. We shall see where this goes.
