Door adjar light won't go off on my 2011 Ford Edge either. The real kicker is, it did it a couple of times before my warranty was out and I thought, "hmm...that's weird...I could swear I shut it the first time", reshut my door, and went on my way. Now I'm at almost 40,000 miles and the sensor is stuck, won't go off at all no matter how many times I slam the door. I tried lubricating it, flipping the latch back and forth, its a no-go folks. I called Ford Customer Support, who in turn urged me to tell you all to make a report that can in turn be escelated to the engineers. It is the engineers decision whether to recall or not. My guess, by the sheer number of incidences I have found with the same problem, is that they aren't too worried about recalling something that won't cause injuries or lawsuits, but it's worth a try. 1-800-392-3673 The customer service girl was very nice and said she would be happy to field phonecalls and escelate reports to the engineers all day if she has too.
