The '07 still ended up doing the same shit after taking it to the Stealership. So we traded it in on a '12 fwd edge. Happy wife happy life.

Lol. Yes king. Mine will make #4.

Well thanks for the answers. Lol. Just kidding.
Found out from Brian on facebk that there is no need for an alignment kit for the h&r springs.
-
What kit did you fellas use that have lowered your edge with the h&r springs?
And did you need a kit for the rear?
For the front I ordered an aftermarket kit that'll adjust +- 1.75*.
Please let me know I wanna lower this thing asap.

I know this post is almost a year old. But when reading it I couldn't help myself laugh. If u had so many negatives why on earth would you have bought such a vehicle that you had so many dislikes about?
I'm loving my 2011 sport. Love the mft. Only complaint I have are the headrests on the seat. And yes that is a nice Jeep Grand Cherokee you purchased.
Btw.....have passing the edge to your mother in law do u dislike her. Lol. Kidding.

Not to mention the turboed 2.0 is a 10 year 150k mileage engine. Guess we will find out in a couple years if ford really made the ecoboost last that long.
I like my 3.7. Of course I like NA engines.

Thanks! And this is her 3rd edge. She's had an '07...'08...and now her '12. I didn't wanna trade my ss in till I seen the my ford touch gadgets.Congrats on the '11 Sport! Nice to see another 2-Edge family
Plus the tranny was slipping and had already replaced it once. I seen the sports and fell in love. I will miss the POWA but getting used to a v6. Lol. Oh and I already have the h&r lowering springs. None of my rides stay stock.

Future mods. Hrmmmm
If you don't like chrome get the grille painted/p dipped/vinyled. I like color matched.
New wheels.
Lower suspension if you like that sort of thing.
Paint lower cladding.

As I looked and googled lowered ford edges I don't think I wanna hack up my springs. Dunno wtf I was thinking. :duh:

I just wanna know if anyone has cut half a loop off their h&r springs to bring the stance down another 1/2" or so. And if I do decide to do this will the camber kit still get me to factory spec alignment wise? I know cutting springs is normally a no no but half a loop couldn't do much if any harm. The lowering springs from h&r do look good I just wanna close the gap to the fender well a little more. I have always lowered my vehicles but many vendors offered more lowering kits for other vehicles. Seems to be only one for the edge. And yes I know about taking the insulators out for the front to bring it down a little more.

Thanks for the replies. It's this forum very active? ? Any way it was the 2 sensors in the transmission needs replaced. Taking it to the dealership Friday. $500 to fix at the dealership.

Just as the topic states. Took it into dealer last night and of course no issues. Car won't shift or we feel a bang going into gear. After shutting car off and restart all is fine. I heard it could be 2 sensors going bad in the transmission. Car had 85k miles. My wife is prego and need some help. Looked on uou tube and found some similar issues but a little different.
