same thing happened to me. i just took out the HID's, put the stock lights back in, and took it to the dealership. they fixed it under warranty. not sure exactly what the problem was. i'll check the work order and let you know.

where did you get it done at? exhaust sytems hawaii?

i've been there a few times before. haven' been there in awhile though. how much did you pay for the kit? did you install it yourself or did eurosport do it for you?

hey what's up extremedge808! It's nice to see anothe local boy on here. when did they make 6000k legal? i was just going to get a 5000k kit but if 6000k is legal then i'd rather get that. where did you get your kit from?

I have an '08 SEL that's supposed to come with the fog lights standard but for some reason wasn't installed from the factory. The dealer ordered the fogs and when I brought it in to be installed they discovered that I didn't even have the wiring harness's installed. They said it's supposed to be installed from the factory so hopefully it's there on yours!

I thought it would be totally doable also! Especially at a dealer. I don't know what the problem is. Granted they'd have to order the wiring harnass since it wasn't installed at the factory but they claimed they weren't even sure what parts to order. I'm definitely going to hold them to it. I'm going to call today and see what's going on. I gave them a week to figure it out.

On the way home from the dealer I noticed that I didn't have the fog lamps installed on my Edge SEL! So I check my paper work and sure enough, I'm supposed to have them. I call the dealer that night and they say the'll order the lamps and install it. Inconvenient but I figured it was an honest mistake. So I take it in and they tell me that they can't install it today because there aren't any wiring harnass's for the fog lamps! They said it should have come from the factory with the harnass's even if there weren't any lamps installed. So now he says they have to order more parts to install them but that they're not even sure what parts need to be ordered. They have to call FoMoCo to figure it out. So who's responsible for this? Is it the dealer or factory? If they can't install it how much of a big deal should I make of it? I really want the fog lamps. It looks very plain without them. I wouldn't be that upset but the fact that I just lemon lawed my 07 Sport Trac is making this even harder to deal with.

On the Magnaflow website it says that it's only for the FWD models.

I was thinking about purchasing the Magnaflow for my Edge. Does anyone else have any experience with it? I had one on my V8 sport trac and was happy with it. It wasn't overly loud and obnoxious but I was wondering how it would sound on our V6's.

At first I thought it was black too. In fact, everyone so far thought it was black at first. I used the PIAA H11 Xtreme White Plus for the low beams and will be putting them in my fog lamps when I get them. They are whiter and brighter then stock and are rated at 4000k but are no where near HID's. To me, they are a little expensive though. I paid $75/pair plus shipping from TireRack. I've used Sylvania Silverstars in my other vehicles and personally I think they were a little brighter then the PIAA's. Unfortunately they don't have them in H11's. I'll try and get some pics this weekend once our trade wind weather returns.

First off let me say that I've been lurking on here for a few months now waiting for my chance to post my first impressions. Well I finally got my Edge! I had to lemon law my 07 Sport Trac and what a long process it was. But it was well worth it. I got an 08 SEL, Dark Ink Blue, Vist Roof, and Camel Leather interior. First thing i noticed was how much better the leather seat are in the Edge over the Sport Trac. I am very pleased with the Edge so far but I had 2 problems right off the bat. I've got the roof rattle that I have to take it in for and the night that I took it home I noticed that there weren't any fog lamps. I checked my paperwork and yup, I was supposed to have the fog lamps. So I took it back and they ordered the parts. Other then that I am very happy with it. So far I've got it tinted and changed my headlamps to PIAA Extreme White Plus and my highbeams with Silverstar Ultras. I'll post some pics later.
