I use my Edge AWD for hunting alot. Mainly waterfowl so going in and out of cornfields is a must. If its too mushy I wont bother. But no complaints so far. Has proved itself well in some muddy situations.

That's sweet. What can you do without really doing say a lift? How big of tire can you fit under a stock edge?

Well my wife has a '13 Escape,ecoboost and awd. I love driving that thing. I wanted something good on gas but with some cargo room for tools and such. To me a used Edge or the Flex was a no brainer as I couldn't afford something new. Mine is the burnt orange(can't remember Fords name for it) and the dealer made it work for me in my budget. Not to mention AWD is a must for me with our weather and me hunting. The SCT tuner really helped with the delay in the gas pedal. Now it is quick and snappy on the throttle and Gained about 1.5mpg in town for around 17mpg in town and gained about the same on the highway for 25mpg,26 at its best.

Hey guys just bought a 08' SEL AWD Edge. Traded my 04' F250 V10 truck for it as Iam starting a new career as an apprentice electrician and will be doing some traveling. So obviously the V10had to go,Haha. I threw my SCT tuner from 5 Star Tuning that was on my truck,on as they wrote me a tune for it which woke it right up! Must say Iam so far overly happy with my Edge and plan on throwing a hitch and brake controller on it for some towing duty. Hope to learn lots about these rides.
