I just got a Sept. 2013 built Edge and it has the tray....after reading this form, good to know that rubber L shape piece is for the pass that pass through.... -

Got some good driving done the last few days here in Edmonton with the large dump of snow....The Edge handled it flawlessly...

Thanks everyone! I traded in my 2006 G35X for the Ford Edge...with 3 kids, a sedan just didn't cut it anymore....so far I am pretty impressed....
