  1. It's great to see you are happy with your edge. I've loved the edge for a long time now and always wished I could own one!! Now, having worked hard for a long time, now I can afford one. I've even found an edge. But, now all these thoughts are killingme, like: I might need the money in future...I should save the money for future... What should I dooooo???? GOD!!!!!
  2. Thanks for the info. I didn't know the sport doesn't come with HID headlights (which doesn't make sense at all). I think I'll go with the sport. Thanks
  3. Thanks a lot for the info. The website is really good. Regarding the 22" wheels, I've been doing some research and some people say the ride is rougher and might not be the best option for winter. But the current owner has the 22" (no smaller winter tires). Thanks again for your response
  4. Thanks akirby. I like them both. Of course, Sport looks better, but living in Alberta, Canada, I'm thinking the sport might be more expensive to maintain. Which one you, as an experienced Edge owner, think is a better deal?
  5. akirby, I have one more question. have 2 options now. Would you please help me choose one. 1- 2013 Edge Sport, 68,000 km, $27000 (lowered the price), one owner 2- 2013 Edge Limited, 55,000 km, $29,500 (and possibly plus a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty, the seller works in a dealership and says can get it for me), one owner Both are fully loaded (same packages). Also, is there a big difference in gas millage between Limited and Sport? I really appreciate all your help.
  6. Thanks akirby! Would you know if ESP (flood ford esp) is offered to Canada too? Cause on their website, they ask for province and Canada is not there!
  7. Just want to add that he has not replaced the brakes
  8. Makes total sense, you're right. So, if I take it to inspection and there is nothing wrong with it, then you would recommend buying it. And would you recommend the ford dealership for inspection? Thanks again
  9. Thanks for your response! How do I make sure he is the original owner? I mean, he showed me the receipt from the dealership with details of the pricing and I will get the carproof too (for accident history). I think this should be enough, right? So, considering the high millage (in 1 year), you wouldn't worry about the engine and also the electronic features, like MFT? My last question... would you recommend buying extended warranty? If so, what type? I really appreciate your help.
  10. Thank you for your response. That's a good point! I was actually thinking the other way around! I mean I thought with 66K in a year, I will need to change the brake pads soon. So basically you're saying if the inspection report says the brake pads are in good shape, then the millage is highway? Also, How about the engine? Should I be worried about the engine? Will it feel old/not fresh?
  11. Hello, Thanks in advance for any advice. I have been looking at some of the used Edges. There is a 2013 Sport model with 66,000 km and according to the seller, most of it is highway and he has taken care of the vehicle and kept up with the scheduled maintenance. He bought it on July 2012. So, 66,000 km in one and half year! Also, he is willing to take the vehicle to a dealership for inspection. He is asking $29,000. What do you guys think? I know it's a lot of kms but the price is tempting. Please help! Thanks
  12. I actually like the MFT a lot and if as you guys are saying the latest version is pretty stable, I will definitely will get it. Thanks so much guy.
  13. Thanks very much everyone for your comment. It's good to see you are happy with your edge and don't have any issue with it. Thanks again
  14. Hello everybody, I am new here. I was wondering if you Edge owners could help me make my final decision! Okay... I've been looking to buy an Edge for a while now. I really love the Edge, inside and out, especially the interior, looks amazingly beautiful (can't get enough by looking at its pictures...). I have test driven it and liked it. I am not experienced driver and haven't had many cars. So I did not really feel significant difference with my 2010 Mazda 3 (my first car) which is a good small car and does not have any issues. However, reading through this forum and owner's comments, seems like most/some owners have many issues with their edge, the biggest one being the MFT. To be honest, this really holds me back from buying it but, again, I just can't get the edge out of my mind!! Have you had any problem with your edge? Do you recommend buying one? I am thinking to buy an used 2013 limited AWD. Also, do you think I can a better price on used 2013 models in January 2014? I would really appreciate any help, Thanks,
  15. Great review and beautiful pictures... It's really nice to read through your review and the fact that you are happy with your edge. I've been wanting to buy one but reading comments and reviews here in the forum, I am a little concerned but your review is definitely positive Enjoy rest of your trip
