Sorry I just saw this. I actually haven't taken my edge to SunTrup since the first oil change because it is quite a drive. I hadn't had the warning come back since I posted in here but just yesterday while my car was in idle waiting on my daughter to get out from preschool it happened again. I am thinking maybe I should just bring to dealer and see what they say but I'm out of warranty since I have 80,000 miles on it. Wondering if anyone has found a real solution to what the issue might be.

My 2012 edge has just started doing this as well. It only does it when it idles for a while. Has anyone figures out what thw issue could be? Mine has only done it 3 times now...

So has anybody been able to find a fix for this problem. I have a 2012 Edge and ever since I had the latest update done on the sync system, the ambiant lights seem to turn on by themselves even after I go through the settings and turn it off. I know there are lights that come on when you open the door but when the door is shut they should stay off but if my lights turn on all the ambiant lights turn on too. I have taken it to the dealer and they seem stumped. They say that they have not heard of this problem and that updating the sync shouldn't have caused this problem but that is the only thing that has been done that would make any sense. If anyone has come across a solution, I would love to hear it so I could bring it up to the dealer so maybe they can fix this problem.
