I know rehashing an old topic, but I finally got this resolved. It was as simple as a replacement radiator reservoir cap. It is amazing how an $11.99 fix caused the problem to go away. I replaced the cap about 8 weeks ago and it hasn't dropped any since then. Normally it would have fallen by at least a half an inch.
