I have 20 x 8.5 +35mm offset rims i just purchased. Should I go with the Stock tire size which is 245/50/20 or go to a 275/45/20? Whats the differences?

I just bought rims for my 2010 Lincoln MKX. They are 20 x 8.5 +35mm. My current tire size on my stock 20's is 255/45/20. Will the same size tire work? Ive been doing some research and some people put 275/45/20 on there rims.....any help will be appreciated. Also with my NEW rim specs are the rims and tires gonna stick out of the wheel well?

I own a 2010 Lincoln MKX AWD and I just purchased some rims. The specs on the rims are: 20 x 8.5 +35mm. I was just wondering what size tire I am going to need for these wheels to fit nicely onto my Lincoln? Any help is very much appreciated.
