  1. I Googled this topic and the turbo blower came up as a possible root cause. Please keep us posted what solves the issue.
  2. @ NY Yankee Pride, welcome to the forum. I am also technically inclined and at first I thought the MFT was overwhelming, just initially. The Edge is a DD for my wife and she isn't tech savvy but zips around the MFT. My recommendation would be to differentiate a vehicle based on powertrain first. The conventional transmission in the Edge is so smooth, in the long run the Murano CVT may be problematic, I would be very reluctant to owning a Murano out of warranty because of the CVT. The Edge 2.0 Ecoboost also powers the LR Evoque, it feels like a V6. My kids preferred the Edge interior, infotainment, panoramic roof, reclining rears seats over my previous Range Rover Sport. The Edge ride is very comfortable. This is our first Ford and after a year of ownership we are very happy. We had a Nissan Xterra for 6 years, at a 100K miles the radiator and transmission went out, there were little annoying rattles, the gas cap was problematic, the interior was rental car grade. A colleague of mine had to get rid of his Murano due to CVT failure at 120K miles. The only Nissan I would consider now is the Leaf, that is a separate segment and conversation. All the best in your quest for a new vehicle. Cheers!
  3. Welcome to the forum! My wife has the 2.0 Ecoboost Edge and I drive it when we take our family of four around on weekends. I can tell you it, I doesn't feel like a four banger but feels like a V6, the tranny is also smooth. My wife puts mid grade, but the SA told her to just put 87 and premium ever 4th tank or so. Drive both and see if which one you like. When the current mid grade tank runs out I will have to drive it and report here if I notice any difference.
  4. Update, the O2 sensor in question was replaced this morning by the dealer. I am going to monitor and see if there is any increase in mpg and reduction in soot on the tailpipes.
  5. @Gimp... Using my scanner I just pulled the 4 codes below... 1 of 4: P0132 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage(Bank 1 Sensor 1) 2 of 4: P0135 O2 Sensor Heat Circuit Malfunction(Bank 1 Sensor 1) 3 of 4: P2243 O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 Reference Voltage Circuit/Open 4 of 4: P2243 O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 Reference Voltage Circuit/Open Based on these I presume it is just a bad sensor vs. fouled. This Friday afternoon, car is going to the dealer for O2 sensor replacement, will post the updates/results. Good thing I purchased 7yr/100K warranty. Cheers
  6. Welcome to the forum! I am new here as well. I dig the yellow calipers on the Mustang. Are the wheels dipped or powder coated? If later, is that dark chrome(color)?
  7. I use Black Again from Autogeek, on black plastic. On the paint I use, Mother's California GoldĀ® Pure Brazilian Carnauba Wax Step 3
  8. Took the car to the dealer to have the check engine light diagnosed. Turns out O2 sensor needs to be replaced. They ordered the part should be done by Friday, will post an update. O2 sensors are supposed to last a very long time. Anyone seen this issue this early? Someone from the Ford team please respond with cause of failure this early. Thanks
