Beginning immediately all power steering applications requiring MERCON® can now be serviced using MERCON® V or MERCON® Automatic Transmission Fluid or dual usage fluids labeled MERCON® / MERCON® V. After July 1, 2007, MERCON® Automatic Transmission Fluid will no longer be manufactured, therefore, availability of this fluid will continue until remaining inventory has been depleted.

Just thought I'd clear up any concerns about all these TSB's, since the topic of this thread is asking for any TSB's or Recalls.

I find with any 4 door vehicle if you only lower the rear windows then you get a very loud buffeting sound. That's with any vehicle. Plus the rear of the vehicle is acting as a parachute and slowing the vehicle down and wasting lots of gas.

What is it like when you drive with all the windows open?

Not too thrilled about 3rd row as it could get a bit tight in there.

 

As for standard features across the line-up, some people might not have wanted all of them and if all trims had the same stuff, why have 3 trim levels?

There will not be a 3rd row option on the Edge. That's what the Fairlane will be for and why Mazda has the CX7 for 5 & CX9 for 7 passengers.

3 Trim levels? SE & SEL, are you including the Lincoln MKX?

Someone needs to tell ford that It is time for a new Advertising campaign. This one about living on the Edge grinds on my nerves. I see it at least 3 or 4 times a day. Talk about beating :beatdeadhorse: . Time to spend some money on something other than the executives.

The adaptive lights on the MKX AREN'T HID. Only halogen that steer.

Ah, did not know that. They seem bright enough with no streetlights. Any brighter and just a twitch off aim and people would be flashing the high beams at it.

Air Conditioning will help reduce the windshield fogging. There is from manual(PDF version Page 70):

Hid's would be great too.

Have you looked at the Lincoln MKX? These HIDs will even turn with the wheel direction.

I know the choices are either Vista Roof, roof rails, or nothing at all.

I know there is a limit to how much weight you should put on a vehicles roof before it drastically changes the driving characteristics. With the heavy glass roof I don't see much more room for extra weight up there. Just my opinion :mellow:

Ford should have put the HID lights from the Montego on the Edge. Those suckers are Holy Crap bright. Just the way I like it.

If HID are important to you then look at the MKX. :yup:
