I went from a regular Edge to one with ecoboost. Didn't know much about it, but happy with it, just the same. It was my husband's idea and I just went along with it. We love it! Very smooth ride. Great acceleration. Mileage, not too shabby either.

That may be true. But if they have addressed all the issues, they are, at least, taking care of the problem. Doesn't help when you have to take it in to be fixed, or if you happen to get stranded. None of which have happened with me. But, I can certainly appreciate the frustration. Ford always stands behind their products. That has been my experience anyway.

An Edge. Didn't know, originally, that it is an ecoboost. My husband informed me that it was. He snuck in the ecoboost when choosing the vehicle. I'm not familiar with it, but always willing to try new things. It accelerates nicely. That's all that's important to me. (that's not true) As long as he's happy, then I'm happy too!!!

Is Ecoboost all it's cracked up to be? Still on the fence on that subject. What are the benefits?

I currently own an Edge. Not an ecoboost though. Considering one. Just curious, to those of you who own them, is it entirely about the mileage? Or is it something else? Just curious what your opinion is.

I'm in the same boat with your heavy-footed wife. But why have it if you can't flaunt it? And some of us do that by zipping around town. Sometimes I think it's a state of mind, depending on the vehicle. And this is, indeed, one of those vehicles!
