Ya i do the same. Its mostly for work while im driving and im usually running late so I try to make a quick reply but refuse to physically pick up my phone... its not worth dying for work! Good to know. I did notice the canned messages when I was looking around. That would have been annoying and i probably would have ended up not using it anyway. But thank you for the info. YES! However you have to turn the setting on through settings>siri> hey siri. Its not flawless though, ive had my phone plugged in at night and while having a convo with the girlfriend, it somehow thinks ive said "hey siri" when I havent said either of those words. But other than that its a great feature for times when you are driving or have your hands full

not yet but my thought was if they had to touch it up that rubbing compound didnt work for them!

Thank you! that solved 75% of my problem. turned on "show notification" from my phone as it was off, disconnected from sync and reconnected and it worked. Tested it with my work phone......It pops up on screen, it will read it to me and i can view it. But now as you can see in the pics below it does not give me the option to reply or dial! another setting im missing??? BTW sorry for the glare, parked outside in the sun!

how did you do the emblems? did you mask them off? im assuming they are pinned into the car as they are in other ford models?

Hi guys, Recently bought my 13' Edge with 18k miles on it. Love this thing! When i bought it, I pointed out a couple small ( less than 1 inch) scratches that appeared to have been "fixed" before the car was on the lot. and by fixed I mean it looks like they put touch up paint on them. You cant really tell they are there, until you get up close. I have OCD when it comes to this stuff but i figured since it was a killer price i could live with them for now. My questions is, short of taking it to the body shop and having them repaint and blend half the car, is there any successful methods/ products you guys have used to remedy scratches? They really arent THAT bad, my OCD just kicks in a bit when im washing it and I see where they touched it up. Thanks!

Hello all, Ive done some research and only found info on iphone 5 stuff. I have a '13 edge with MFT/nav and my phone ( iPhone 6 ) syncs fine, plays music, makes/receives calls fine. BUT when i hit the messages tab, it tells me that " the connected device does not support messaging via bluetooth". There has to be a setting im missing right? hard to believe that it does everything else except messaging. Anyone else with an iPhone 6 have this problem?? thanks in advance!

Hey everyone. After some last minute advice from some members of this forum yesterday, I just purchased a 2013 Edge SEL. 18k miles, MFT with nav, vista roof, leather. After my 06 F-150 blew, it was time to switch to something with some better gas mileage. There's a lot of good ideas and info on here and I'm excited to become part of this Edge community. She sure is good looking, but she won't be stock for long.

Thanks for the advise! I have seen some threads on here about the stock speakers and how terrible they are so I'll plan on replacing them. I have an 06 F-150 supercrew that i replaced the speakers in for the same reason. Unfortunately i just blew the motor in her, so im going for an Edge this time. What I really want is the vista roof package, thats my main goal! Getting ready to empty the wallet tonight

Well trust me I want it, however I'm buying used so if i can find a good deal that is significantly cheaper enough to justify living without it I'm willing to compromise. I just wanted to know ahead of time so I can consider my options. I appreciate the reply. Shopping tonight so hopefully tomorrow I will have an EDGE. I have been following these forums for a while, seems like alot of good info, ideas and people on here. Cant wait to be a part of the community!

I am currently edge shopping and have noticed that if you do not get the upgraded sony audio system that the dash under MFT is a very cheap bland looking set up compared to sony set up. So my question is if i buy an edge without the sony set up, is it possible to swap in the sony panel controls even if i dont buy all the speakers right away? IMO the sony set up gives the interior a nicer finish. Thanks in advance for the help!
