  1. Thank you! I went ahead and replaced it and sure enough, thats what it was. Took about 15-20 mins. Bonus, this whole time i though that the AC was going bad because it has been noticeably weaker the last 6 months. It now feels like the day i bought it. Also, I just realized it was YOUR videos i watched that helped me do it and diagnosed it for me. Specifically when you said overheating and poor AC at idol but fine driving. Thanks man, you're a legend!
  2. Hi All, Read alot of posts on this but heres my specific case before i replace the fan assembly: 2013 Ford Edge 3.5L. 151,000 Miles. Idling for about 15 mins in MAX AC, heat starts rising fairly quickly. Checked the fans, both come on strong for about 5 seconds an then turn off. Then about 30 seconds later, they come on strong for 5 seconds and then turn off. Checked connections and nothing looks burnt. Replaced 60 Amp fuse in position 39. Is it for sure the fan assembly? Or is there anything else to check before i order it? I have MACTFORDEDGES install video ready, just wondering if there is anything else. Thanks, TJ
  3. Thank you sir! I actually like the style of our 18s better than the stock 20s. However I like the look of a bigger wheel in general as long as I don't have to compromise ride quality too much. That is why I'm looking aftermarket instead of picking up some take offs.
  4. Will do. Thank you again for the help! I test drove one with the stock 20's. seemed like it rode pretty similar. Im not too worried about going with a wheel size that is offered as a stock option. But i am purposely staying away from 22s to help keep the ride quality
  5. KMC Slides. They are 20x 8.5 instead of 20x 8 like stock. But thanks to your converters that you posted links to, I was able to find the correct tire size to get in order to be within 0.6% total diameter of stock.
  6. Great! thank you for all the info. so by getting the new 20's with a 245/50-20 tire I dont have to flash the pcm. 0.4% isnt even noticable. That was exactly what i needed! Thank you again!
  7. Can this be accomplished by getting the tires for the new rims that are the same size as the tires on the OEM 20s? Meaning did ford make the stock 18 and 20s the same overall height so they could program the all the PCMs the same?
  8. My edge came with the 18" chrome clad rims and im looking into upgrading for a set of aftermarket 20s. Will this effect the readout of the "miles to E" reading and speedometer since im assuming the computer was originally programmed for 18" wheels? Is there an easy way to correct this without going to the dealer? Thanks guys!
  9. '13 SEL Plus 18k miles, Leather, MFT w nav, Vista roof etc... $25k
  10. Ive had zero problems. Found the factory code, put it in, changed to my personal one first try and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I usually hide my key in the car when I go hiking, and use the keypad to lock/ unlock the door when Im done . Hasn't failed me yet, My code only has numbers so dont know where the letter is coming from. Maybe someone more knowledgable can help with that one.
  11. to elaborate on what WWWPerfA_ZN0W said, when you take off the fuse box cover by where your left foot would be, I had to put my head on the floor and look up toward the back, there is a white sticker with black writing that has the number. The sticker is not labeled, it just has a 6 digit number printed on it.
  12. I do not have a sirius subscription and I get the gas prices as well. Dont know where they are coming from but i checked them compared to the gas station I was at and there was only a couple cents variance so they must be updated semi regularly..... or maybe it was just luck. who knows but a cool feature none the less.
  13. Ive had my 13 Edge w/ MFT & Nav for 10 days now and have it down. I feel its simple and works great for me. Learning curve? Sure there is, just like with any electronics, theres always going to be a learning curve. But I cant see why so many people are complaining. Edgy1 said the climate control was a nightmare and your niece had to pull over to turn the heat up? I dont get that at all. There is more than 1 place to control the climate. If she had to pull over to turn the heat up with MFT, it would have been just as hard for her with any car. I turn mine up and down with the steering wheel controls. Couldnt be simpler or safer. Maybe if i would have had it before the updates I would have been annoyed with some of the problems people claim to have. But think of how many cars rolled out with this system compared to how many people are complaining now. Vast minority have problems. You wanna make yourself feel good about MFT....... then go get yourself a toyota with their bluetooth touch screen nav package, now thats absolute garbage. Had one for a week as a rental and MFT is a vast upgrade from that trash.
  14. first pic looks pretty cool, reminds me of the quad tips on an M5. not a fan of the tips on the second one.
