I was at my Ford dealer yesterday for the exact same thing. The lead man came out to the car and said they replace these door ajar mechenisms in the door once or twice a month on different cars. He quoted me $300.00. He said there is a lot of work just getting to the part. Sounds like a common problem. I tried the WD40 several times without success. Maybe you will fair better.

Hello. I am new to this forum. I have learned a lot already. I have a 2011 Edge with the MyFordTouch system. My backup camera is not nearly as crisp and clear as I have seen in other cars. Is there a replacement camera I could put in place of the one I have now? Is there an 1080 HD that would work?

Hello. I'm new here tonight. We have had our Edge for 3 years now and love it. It's a 2011. We searched for many months before deciding on the Ford Edge. It's perfect for us, yet we always are expanding our understanding on our Edge and new ones coming out.
