  1. Just a head's up to any of you that travel the 401 or 407. I saw an OPP Edge today, with someone pulled over for speeding. No special markings that I could see. Flashing red/blue lights in rear door windows behind b-pillar, and flashing headlamps (and tail lamps as well, I presume). It was either an '07 Charcoal grey, or an '07/'08 black unit. I couldn't see the tailgate. He was on the West bound 407 at the 401 near Mississauga. Nice to know our vehicle appeals to the police.
  2. They are small foam rubber pads that go into the 'cups' on the door arm rests, to cover the screw in the bottom. The 'MKX' has a plastic flap that closes down to hide the screw.
  3. The door pull pads you talk about, are normally in the right front door map pocket, when the vehicle enters pre-delivery. It is one of the loose items that must be checked before the vehicle is shipped. Check your dealer, because they may be removing them and tossing them out if they don't know what they are. When I picked up my Edge, the rubber pads in the cup holders weren't in place, so I looked way down in the bottom of the centre console, and there they were.
