I know this is an old thread, but any update on this.I have a 2014 Edge (purchased Feb 2015), and after 1000 miles I started having this cracking noise in the dash on the driver side. I have had it in twice now, and they still haven't been able to find to cause of it. I have another appointment in a week where 'their expert' will take a look. Both times they had it for a week, and only when I told them I needed it for the weekend did they look at it - (then whats' the point in making an appointment for monday morning??!!!). Anyway, I hope they will be able to find the problem this time.
