  1. There are so many threads on interior LED swaps with so many variations, here's my low budget practical solution with great results. All were ordered through Amazon, I am a PRIME member so I got free 2 day shipping - Total $26.00 invested.....YMMV The results were great, intensity/color was consistent across all bulbs. There is a slight white/blueish tint, but exactly what I would expect from a "white" LED. When replacing all bulbs, remember these bulbs do have a correct polarity to them. So if you install a bulb and it does not light, remove it, flip 180° and reinstall. Check this by plugging in each assembly BEFORE complete reassemby and then finding out you have a bulb that won't light. - Front Map lights were very easy to remove and replace pulling from the rear of the entire assembly. - 2nd row map/dome assembly can be removed by carefully pulling down from each side of the lens. When installing the 42mm Festoon bulbs, first remove the incandescent bulbs, squeeze the 2 prongs of both sides of the bulb holder together and these bulbs will not be loose as some folks have experienced. - License Plate are quite easy, there is a small tab you push in on the lens and the assembly pops right out for my 2013 Limited: ------------------- Front Map lights - http://www.amazon.com/Classy-Autos-Reverse-Backup-Lights/dp/B0063JGFRY (a pair) 2nd Row Map/Dome lights & Cargo Light - http://www.amazon.com/Cutequeen-Trading-White-Lumens-Festoon/dp/B00NBH6814 (pkg of 4) Rear License Plate lights - http://www.amazon.com/Zone-Tech-5-smd-White-Lights/dp/B0064O0NB2 (pkg of 4)
  2. I don't post much on here but I decided to resurrect an old thread. Here's my full time obsession for the last 9 years. Frame off restoration, I built the entire car myself, with the only exception being the paint/body work......I left that to professionals!!
  3. I've had my 2013 (New to me) Edge Limited for about a month and a half. During that time on my morning commute (in the dark of winter) numerous drivers behind me have been flashing their lights at me. I figured I was driving too slow for THEIR own good. I was out with my wife last night and at least 4 cars and a semi all flashed their lights at me, some not even in the lane I was in. So then I started to wonder if there was a real issue with my taillights??? When I got home I tried different positioning with the head light control, figuring "operator error" (read - dummy didn't read the entire owners manual). NOW, to my real question. In the image shown, if you wish to have your headlights come on and turn off automatically - you'd select the AUTOLAMP position, which would be the position all of the way to the right on the Lighting Control Selector., and it stays there all of the time. CORRECT? Put in a different way, Set it - and forget it???
