  1. Where did you buy it? I saw some online but was worried about how to put it on, how to take the old one off and how it would look.
  2. The cover on my armrest finally ripped and I was wondering what fixes or replacements others have used. I keep my right elbow in the same spot and I now have a 2” tear in it. I found some really nice one for 2015, but not for 2014. Most of what I find are basically flat pieces that Velcro strap to the lid. I am not opposed to that, but so many look cheap. can anyone recommend a way to replace or cover the tear? I did find an actual cover that is made to replace your existing and it is an actual Ford product. The problem is that it was $130 and the prices went up from there. any help would be appreciated. Thank you
  3. I am trying to figure out if I can fit a my sons 4 wheeler in the vehicle. Thank you
  4. Thanks everyone. That is not a bad price for remote start. It is time for my 5000 mile service, so will talk to them about it
  5. Thanks for all of the information everyone. I think I will just try to find a remote start aftermarket system. Since I want to upgrade the speaker, I may do the remote and speaker at the same time. Is there any way for my key to be upgraded so that it will operate the remote start system?
  6. Jarod, did you buy the sub and it fit right in, or did you have to buy an entire kit to install it? Thanks for the response. Btw... I adjusted the treble, bass, etc... And turned them up and it sounded much worse.
  7. I did adjust the buttons some, but it did not get as loud or as good as I was hoping for. Can someone recommend a good sub to upgrade to? When I asked at the dealer, I was told that it was their premium stereo. I am just surprised that my older expedition actually sounds better Thanks
  8. Thank you for the responses. I scrolled through a couple of pages, but did not do search. Thanks again
  9. So happy to have found this forum. Just bought a 2014 Edge Sport yesterday. I test drove one that was $2000 more and went with the cheaper one (long story that I can bore you with later), but one day after purchase, I wished I had purchased the other one. After driving home, I realized that I should have spent $2k more and gotten what I wanted. Anyway.... I would like to add the following: remote start and keyless start. I looked at Ford's website and am confused over what to get. It looks like i can add remote start, but am not sure about keyless. Should I get Ford to install all of it for me, or should I find a radio store to install something like that? How much would it be for remote start and how much for keyless start? Thank you in advance for any ideas or suggestions..
  10. First post... So happy i found these boards. I just traded in a 2006 ford Expedition with a factory sound system and got a 2014 Edge Sport. The sound is not bad, but it is not as clear and definitely not as loud as my 9 year old expedition. I am not sure if I have a separate sub or not (got it after dark last night and did not have time today). I noticed where the spare goes, I may be able to put a tube sub (or whatever they call them), or obviously replace a sub if I have one. Can anyone suggest what to do and get to get better sound? I am in shock over how much better the sound was in my expedition. I used the same CD in the Edge I had in my expedition. Should I add a sub, replace speakers or what? Thanks in advance for the advice.
