  1. Replaced purge calve recently because of a rough idle.. Where is the canister located on this vehicle.
  2. Have a 2012 ford edge and recently when pumping gas the pump will constantly click off every time I squeeze the pump handle. It clicks off as if I was topping off the tank which I am not. If I squeeze the handle only a little the pump won't click off its when I squeeze the pump handle fully it clicks off. Wondering if anyone else has had a problem similar and if this is due to not properly realising vapor or the charcoal canister going bad? Or maybe an issue caused by something else do the filler necks on these go bad? Any information would be a great help. Thanks.
  3. OK finally got around to doing this and grounded my two doors that are giving me problems to get rid of the door ajar notification.. Now has anyone been able to find these at any stores I've looked at orchard supply, Home Depot and radio shack no luck.. Guess I must order online

  5. I'm planning on doing this very soon I'm having issues with front and rear driver side doors does any one know what wire I would be looking for on the rear driver door?
  6. Yea i just didnt take it apart totally yet. This weekend ill tear it apart and see what its looking like. But what are the risks im taking since ive driven the vehicle a few years now with it like this?
  7. Hello all.. In need of some info here I have a 2012 Ford edge 3.5L and this past weekend wanted to put some new plugs in the vehicle. So I get everything taken off and when I'm loosening the bolts around the intake manifold I notice a Bolt is lose that I haven't even touched... So I try and tighten it up to see if it will thread in and nothing. It just spins and spins at that point I was hesitant to take the manifold completely off since I've had no issues at all previously. So my question is what can I do for a broken Bolt assuming I can get it out are these sold individually through dealer? Secondly Ive put about 60,000 miles on the car and haven't had any problems so what are the risks I'm looking at as this is my daily driver. And my only vehicle? Any info would be greatly appreciated..

I've been having the door ajar issue for about a month or so now and it is driving me crazy...I have looked at the tutorials on the site and i really don't want to take apart everything the process involves. My question is would i be able to install a plunger/pin type switch on the door and connect those wires to the wires that are coming off the faulty switch in the door? Im just trying to think of any other options. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
  9. had a question im also having this same problem my thought is instead of taking this apart is there any way a different switch can be wired to the existing wires that run to the drivers side kick panel?
