2023 Edge SEL. When listening to SiriusXM and the alert message shows on the screen that a favorite artist or song is being played on another channel there is no tone/audio alert to get our attention, we only see the alert message if we happen to be paying attention to the screen. We do get an alert tone on navigation screen if we have set a destination. That tone is adjustable and is loud enough to hear as it overrides the sound level of the music from SiriusXM, radio, or from a thumb drive. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

New 2023 Edge SEL, 6 weeks old, info screen wiil not respond to voice commands when pressing button on steering wheel, unable to request navigation, phone, or radio commands. Can use the screen using touch by fingers to set destination or place a phone call. Have performed a screen reset, pressing on/off and >> buttons at the same time, all that does is reset the display. I really think this is a software issue. Anyone seen this issue or have any suggestions. I am going by the local Ford dealership on Friday morning, 08/04/23, to ask for a look see, but figure they will say come back when they have an appointment available. Edit update: Issue resolved, used the master reset on the screen and voice commands now working. Re-added phones, Ford Pass and saved navigation destinations, lost all saved favorite artists on Sirius XM.

New 2023 Edge SEL has been ordered and due to be built sometime in June 2023. I would like to have a set of floorliners on hand as soon as we take delivery, but Weathertech still does not have any listing for the 2023 model on their website. They do have the floorliners available for the 2022 Edge SEL. My question is, will the 2022 also fit the 2023 model. I do not think there is any difference between the 2022 and 2023. Anyone else with a 2023 Edge and purchased the 2022 Weathertech floorliners? Edit: Purchased the WeatherTech HP floorliners a few weeks ago prior to the new car arrived. I ordered 2022 HP floorliners since WT did not list anything for the 2023. I knew there was no difference between the 22 and 23 models. The 2022 floorliners fit perfectly in our new 2023 Edge SEL. I called WT today and informed their customer service.

Placed an order for a 2023 Edge SEL on 02/11/2023 after not finding exactly what we wanted either online or at the nearby dealer lots. Been very happy with our 2015 Edge SEL, currently at 120,000 miles, will be sold to extended family when gkid is old enough to drive. Not expecting to see the new car to arrive until June or July due to all the production and parts issues. At least that will give us some time to save a few more dollars. Only have had a few problems, headlight bulb replaced actuator door motor replaced and a few recalls. Looking forward to driving the new car as it will be our last car.... Hoping to check in here more often as I already do with the Ranger forum Update: 2023 Edge SEL was due to be built on or about May 17, 2023, has been pushed out to June 5, 2023.

We received the first recall letter about a possible water leak from FMC last week. Made an appt. and the dealer told me they had performed the recall on 5 vehicles before ours, and none of these had shown any water leaks including ours. Will be taking the vehicle in next week for "The Works", since we have almost 5,000 miles on it since we got it on April 30. We also have noticed that the brakes are very touchy when first applied, and recently have noticed and heard a squealing noise coming from the brakes as you come to a stop. Doesn't happen everytime you come to a stop, but will be reported when we take it in for the oil change..... Anyone else having any issues??

ScooterC, Thanks for the info, I had called my salesperson this morning asking about the Cargo Accessory Package for $290.00 as listed in the options for the 2015 Edge. That option includes the security shade, cargo mat and rear bumper protector. If the security shade is not the rollup kind, then I guess it is time to wait for WeatherTech or HuskyLiners to make one. Salesperson didnt know if the option was even orderable separately after the fact, suggested I check with parts guy. Think I will wait and see what WT or HL has available in a few months, but will probably go ahead and order the bumper protector from Ford Acc.asap. Same kind of thing happened when we bought a 2005 Ford 500, no one had accessories available for a few months. Anyone have suggestions on how to protect the bottom edge of the door well, just below the rubber strip, I can see scratches and dents happening in the future if this area isn't protected on all 4 doors......

Wife and I just purchased the first 2015 Ford Edge in Eden, NC at Tri-City Ford. Ruby Red, Dune interior with alot of bells and whistles to get use to, replaces 2005 Ford 500 which has been a good car over the years. Looking forward to keeping up with everyone on this forum about their ford Edge
