Mounted my radar detector today. I removed the plastic cover behind the mirror so I can get power. I just need to find out which one of these wires is Ignition on and ground and ill be set to go.
If anyone has any knowledge of this please help.

I remember Omar saying if the lights are yellowish then they are not HIDs. The HIDs are only available with 401A $3700 equipment package. Do you have the 401A equipment package? The OP was wondering why the HIDs are not available on the 400A base package.
Yes i have the 401A mine is fully fully loaded. HID's are about 4300K which are kinda yellow to me. I like pure white with a tiny tint of blue aka 6000K

Congrats!! Love the wheels!! Weird how you don't have HID's I know mine does. They aren't very nice though little yellowish going to buy new 6000K bulbs. What was your sticker price just wondering.

I'm 62 years old and this is my second Ford since my 1976 Ford van. Stop the angst about "1st" year models. This is just a revision of the past year models, not a totally brand new design. If we didn't have the Internet you wouldn't even know about the "rattle". And that issue has been resolved. The other issues happen with ALL vehicles: parts fail. DESIGNS ARE NEVER PERFECT.
I've owned a dozen new vehicles in my life, and I can say the new Sport is as good as anything I've owned (Lexus, Mini, Vettes,Nissans, and more).
It's a machine!! It's never going to be perfect....

Make sure the software is up to date. If it is then the APIM is probably bad.
How do I know the software is up to date? Can I update it myself? You would think it would be since the truck just was built.

I guess In the only one having this software issue, where the screen doesn't come on when I start the car until 5 minutes later when it says its doing a maintenance. This happens at least once a day or every two.

Called my local hitch place and they said Curt is working on one for the Sport. Should be out in 30 days or so.

I will wait for the 2016 Edge Sport with Sync 3. It looks more responsive than MFT/Sync, and has more features.
I like the old setup more.

Im pretty sure the air is only for the bottom of the seat. Atleast that's how it is on mine.

Seems like atleast once a day when I start my 15' sport the screen is blank and no music plays for about 5 minutes until a SYNC update screen comes on and says its performing maintenance. Is this normal because its very annoying. Anyone else having this issue?

If anyone knows if there a CAI or a short ram available for the '15 sport I would love to get it ! This baby will sound like a beast with a nice intake.

Im with you. My radar is sitting in my garage waiting for a solution. I have a rear view mirror mount i had in my previous car and the the wired tied right into the electronic mirror. Dont think theres any wire near ours =(
