Mine also only rattles when open. Or at least when the sunshade is open. It's the roof liner on the inside that rattles under road vibration... Passenger side only...drivers side is silent. Maybe i will look for some different bolt to secure both push pins on both sides. I will keep you updated. The sunroof rattle is the roof liner coming loose.... i am still working on a fix for that. Poor design .. LEXiiON

I tried to put a bolt in there, but no chance. The double sided tape will also work as a sound dampener if it ever comes loose. LEXiiON

The cover is underneath the rear door (towards the end of the door) on the bottom floor. It's a black plastic. You can tap on it and if it moves, that's your problem. There is a psuhpin on the rear end ... you can either push it back in (which i doubt will solve the issue...it might come loose again) or remove it, clean the floor and the cover and apply some 3M tape. Push the whole thing back in.... I assume, the passenger side cover will start to rattle soon, too. Same concept, same pushpin issue... i will fix it, when i hear rattle from that side, too. On the first picture, you can see some of the 3M tape to the left.... LEXiiON

I found it.... It is a cover underneath the car. The rear pushpin got loose and the cover will flatter while driving fast. Some 3M tape and re-inserting the pushpin fixed the rattle. The cover scratched the paint on the floor. Test drove and rattle is gone.. LEXiiON

I still haven't found mine. But I noticed something very interesting. We drove to the mountains last weekend, and after passing Idaho Springs it dissapeared completly. Now going back down, same location, it started rattling again. So air pressure has an impact on the rattle. Now i am completly lost LEXiiON

Well not yet. That's my next plan. I doubt it is on the inside, due to the fact it only comes up over 40mph. I found a loose clip on the rear door (between the front and rear door - one of the plastic clips that hold the seal) , but that wasn't it. I also found that the drivers side roof trim next to the sunroof made noise, taped it down, but that wasn't it either. Lastly the rear window (the small one) seal tape on the end was loose, re-taped it, and no, that wasn't it either. So basically i am down to the plastic trim on the door. But i will try to pin it down, with wifey driving... LEXiiON

Yes. That's exactly like mine. No rattle over bumps but once you go over 40mph it comes up...

I have a rattle, too. Sounds like it comes from the rear left hand door and only appears over 40mph... I tried to pin it down yet, but with no success... The vehicle is 3 weeks old, less than 1000 miles and already starts to rattle... Geee I think it might be the plastic trim on the lower part of the door. It seems a lttle bit loose compared to the other 3... LEXiiON
