It went up into the taillight assembly, so I assume it is plug and play

did you get resolution to this issue? I purchased my new edge sport on June 27, noticed the crack in the roof during test drive. I stopped at dealership this past friday and dropped it to them showing them how much worse it had gotten and demanded rental car. It was scheduled to go into the shop today. Seeing as how i am seeing others have had the exact same issue as you and are not getting help, I want to reach out to you and tell you, you are not the only one seeing this and i am so thankful i noticed it prior to purchasing. If i were you i would not settle for FORD not making it right, my butt would be on lots checking others and proving my point. If I can offer any assistance, please let me know, I see you are in VA the same FORD district Rep should be covering your area along with PA.

Pulled with it today and no issues. I found sport mode does work best.

I an not sure on the wiring, but I will crawl under and let u know. I will post pics tomorrow of it hooked to the ski, it isn't too low, it is perfect

The part number on invoice is 13224hc. I paid 170 at curt it shows 260. Hope these pics are what u wanted to see. There is no cutting on my plastics

I am actually getting a hitch installed at uhual on Wednesday on my sport 2015, I will let you know how it looks.. they ordered it in specific for me after they called their manufacturer of hitches, not sure what company
