  1. Unfortunately tire selection for the stock size (245/55-r19) is not very good. Moving down to 235 width makes all the difference. I would also like a more comfortable ride hence the smaller rims with more tire sidewall.
  2. Has anyone downsized their wheels on the Titanium with OEM 19" wheels? Are the brakes sizes on the Titanium and SE/SEL models the same so there would be no issues with clearance? Or what about using 235 width tires on the OEM 19" wheels. Would the OEM rim support this? I could not find published rim width range. It would be awesome if I could move to 17" wheels but since no OEM 2015+ model uses 17" wheels I'm leery of going that route. This would be for year round tires, not winter tires. Thx.
  3. Hi all, Is anyone aware if there are any differences between a 2015 and 2016 SEL model Edge? I am aware of the Sync 3 change, but I would like to compare the 2015 and 2016 MYs with the small screened head unit only (e.g. without Sync 3 / no technological package). Thanks!
  4. That's news to me. In order for my current vehicle to maintain 70 mph on when going uphill it must downshift which causes my engine RPM to increase. Same affect when there are heavy headwinds. Is the Edge's powerband such that it never requires downshifts?
  5. Hi all, Could you please post what RPMs ya'll are running on level ground (no discernible incline) at 70MPH and 80MPH. If you can obtain readings without heavy winds (head, tail, or cross), without having your vehicle heavily loaded, and in dry conditions that would be preferable. If you can't please include the conditions. Trim: [sE, SEL, TITANIUM, SPORT] Engine: [2.0L I4, 3.6L V6, 2.7L V6] Wheel Size (inches): AWD or FWD: Elevation: RPM @ 70MPH: RPM @ 80MPH: Thanks!
  6. double post please delete.
  7. I gone through numerous reviews that note how quiet the 2015 Edge is, but every reviewer seems to have a trim level that is top of the line. I am looking at the base model (maybe the SEL) and would like to know if there are any differences in sound insulation between these models and the higher trims. I know manufacturers will often not include or reduce things that aren't seen (like sound insulation) in the lower models to increase profit and push people to the higher trims. Sooooo, does anyone know if there any differences between the trims with respect to the insulation?
