  1. I just use standard 87 and to be perfectly honest, it's got plenty power with that. If there is any minuscule difference in power with 91 I don't think it's worth another 10c a litre or whatever. Thats the nice thing with the sport compared to all the competition imports which require premium.
  2. That sucks for those in the UK, no 2.7 twin turbo for the sport. I do like the wheels on the sport though, also no 21's offered. I do prefer the instrument layout better than the north american version, 2 big dials, speedo and tach looks much better. The UK version also seems to sit a bit lower than the NA version. Their advertised prices also include the 15% VAT so the price you see is the price you pay.
  3. I realize the suspension is entirely different but my point is there is a noticeable difference in handling between the size of wheels even between the 18's on the SEL and 20's of the titanium. I also think the 21's look better because of the size. I have 18" gunmetal winter rims and the 21's look much better although the 18's in gunmetal don't look as small as the bright painted silver of the stock SE wheels I had considered. As I said it's all personal preference. And yes, no matter which way you cut it, the sport is a blast to drive. :)
  4. Personnel preference I suppose but I went with the 21" I test drove an SEL with 18", Titaniums with 19" & 20" and i noticed a difference in the handling between them all. I much preferred the handling response of the 21". I also think the dark 21" wheels look better on the platinum white and being 9" wide with 265 tires fill out the wheel wells better. Maybe if the 20" were 9" wide they would look better.
  5. My new Touren TR60 Gunmetal 18 x 8 winter rims with Continental Winter contact SI. http://www.1010tires.com/Wheels/Touren/TR60/3260-8814G I really wanted Blizzak DM-V2's but waited too long, sold out everywhere. I've had Blizzak DM-Z3's and DM-V1's on my last 2 vehicles and sware by them, awsome tires. I must say however that these Continentals are very good on wet and dry pavement, quieter and more positive feedback than the Blizzaks not so squirmy. Maybe partly due to less tread depth when new, 10/32 for the Conti's vs 13/32 for the blizzaks. I think they are [probably a good trade off to keep some degree of handling to suit the Sport suspension. Need to wait for some snow and ice to give my final verdict.
  6. New to this forum and just picked up a new 2015 Edge sport White Platinum with the 21" wheels. Looking for aftermarket 18" X 8" winter alloys. There are a few nice ones out there but the offsets do not match the OEM 52 mm. Some are 40 mm. Anybody have any experience if this much deviation will adversely affect the steering/handling. Thanks
