I have a 2013 Ford Edge and the Drivers side ajar warning comes on almost constantly. I have 54,000 miles on the vehicle so it will not be covered by extended warranty I would assume. I put in a complaint with NHTSA National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (www.safercar.gov) which has hundreds of complaints for this same issue. If you are having this issue I encourage you to put in one as well and perhaps Ford will see that this needs to have a recall done to retain its loyal customers/consumers!
