This is an old thread but just found it. Hopefully someone woke up with this idea since 2012. Move the battery under the seat or in the spare tire well (No, haven't measured but will.). Mentioned weight distribution. Which weighs more, the turbo and all the plumbing or the battery and a positive cable? Fender vents and a nice wire grill for air flow/under hood lower temps. No chance of running over something and taking out the turbo and a whole lot easier on the plumbing. Just a thought.
