  1. Was this problem ever resolved? I have the same issue.
  2. Bummer. I did some more digging this afternoon and found out it could be one of two things.... The c209 connector or the smart junction box. Not sure if the box can be "reset" or if I need to purchase new.
  3. Mine was loud as well. Found out it was the lower intake manifold gasket. Was an easy repair.
  4. I bought a 2008 Lincoln MKX (used) about a month ago. A few days after purchasing I realized there were some lights that weren't illuminating. I pulled EVERY fuse and they were good. Not sure what else could be the problem. The items that don't light up are the steering wheel controls, the floor shifter, the headlight switch (but the fog light illuminates if I activate them), the window and lock controls, puddle lights, buttons above climate controls and floor lighting when entering the car. I should mention that the buttons/switches for these features still work. Any thoughts?
  5. Can you purchase replacement S209 connectors? I am having a hard time locating one.
  6. If I replace the smart j-box do I need to do any programming or is it a plug and play type part?
  7. Did you find out what the issue is with this? I'm having the same issue on a used MKX I purchased.
